Amylee, the Productive Mama, lives with her husband and three girls, elementary through high school, in the Land of Enchantment (also known as New Mexico). She loves the sunshine, big sky, gorgeous vistas and amazing history there.

Growing up a military brat, she is now content to stay there forever and never move again.
In a perfect world, she would visit Hawaii, ski with her family, donate to various charities and sleep in on a regular basis.

She was one of THOSE moms who home-birthed, breastfed, cloth diapered, co-slept, made babyfood and homeschooled. Of those, she eventually dropped all but homeschooling.

She has always had a home business, most recently owning and managing Inspired Birth and Families, a pregnancy and family resource center offering childbirth classes and parenting classes, from infant sign language, positive parenting, menu planning, traditional food preparation and more. Those classes and years spent with growing families, combined with her natural tendencies toward planning and productivity, planted the seeds of Productive Mama.

Amylee has worked online since 1998 in various ways, from owning her own web design company and in the marketing department of two website companies. She owned her own small businesses while raising her kids, taking care of all tasks involved, including writing email newsletters and teaching classes to parents and families. She has written a monthly column for the La Montanita Co-op Connection since 2010, with a focus on food, health and family issues.
